MEASUREMENT GUIDELINES

Measurements should be taken in the undergarment you are going to wear with your dress. We strongly recommend having your measurements taken by a professional seamstress. If you cannot get professional measurement, we definitely advise that you do not take the measurements yourself and have someone help you and follow the guidelines below. Please note that we cannot be responsible for measurement done outside of our bridal store. You are responsible for ordering the right size.
Bust
Measure the bustline at the fullest part of your chest. Stand straight up with your heels together. Rest your arms by the side of your body. Position the tape so it covers the widest part of the back and the fullest part of your chest. Keep a thumb in the inside of the tape.
Waist
Position the tape at your waistline. Stand with your stomach at its natural position. Leave a little room by keeping a thumb on the inside of the tape. Do not pull the tape tight.
Hip
Stand with your heels together in a relaxed posture. For a sheath dress, position the tape around the fullest part of your bottom. For an A-line dress, position the tape around the fullest part of your hip. Leave a little room by keeping a thumb on the inside of the tape. Do not pull the tape tight.
Hollow-to-Hem
	Step 1: Once the bride has put on the exact slip, crinoline, shoes, brassiere, and all undergarments she will wear the day of her wedding, place the measuring tape 1/4 inch below the hollow of the neck and measure to the waist, following the shape of the body.
	Step 2: With the bride standing up straight and looking forward, measure from the waist to the finished hem, following the shape of the body.
	Step 3: Place the measuring tape 1/4 inch below the hollow of the neck and measure to the finished hem. If this measurement does not equal the sum of the previous two measurements, repeat all three measurements.
